On the afternoon of April 23, 2026, CT Innovation Hub 4.0 (CTI 4.0) we were honored to welcome the delegation from National University of Singapore (NUS) prestigious educational institution ranked 8th globally and 1st in Asia (according to the QS World University Rankings 2026). The working session focused on discussing strategic cooperation directions in the fields of education, scientific research, and innovation.

The NUS delegation comprises leaders and leading experts from various units, including the NUS Graduate School (NUSGS), NUS Enterprise, the Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS), and the School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (NUS SCALE). The delegation is led by Associate Professor Caroline Lee, Vice Dean of NUSGS, and Associate Professor Lee Kooi Cheng, Director of the Centre for English Language Communication (CELC).

At the CTI 4.0 innovation hub, the two parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding solutions to bridge the gap between academia and business practice, including:

  • Research & Development: Establishment of joint laboratories, Capstone projects, and intellectual property (IP) licensing opportunities.
  • Human Resource Development: Specialized internship programs, co-sponsored scholarships, and advanced leadership training courses.
  • Startup Ecosystem: Collaboration on startup development and the creation of next-generation innovation labs.
  • Capacity Building: Standardized, specialized English language frameworks for the workforce in the context of globalization.

This visit and working session at CT Innovation Hub 4.0 serves as a crucial foundation for the two parties to establish specific collaborative programs in the near future. It underscores the Hub’s role in connecting leading intellectual resources, contributing to the development of a sustainable innovation ecosystem, and preparing a high-quality workforce for the digital era.
