On the afternoon of May 21, 2026, a delegation from the Institute of World and Vietnam Economy (under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) and representatives from the Quang Ninh Department of Science and Technology visited and held a working session with CT Group.

The delegation comprised experts, researchers, and policymakers specializing in economics, science, technology, and innovation—such as Dr. Ha Huy Ngoc, Director of the Center for Strategy and Policy, and Dr. Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Institute of World and Vietnam Economy—alongside representatives from the Quang Ninh Department of Science and Technology.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed CT Group’s R&D strategy and investment practices in key technology sectors of strategic importance, and shared experiences regarding technological self-reliance to enhance global competitiveness. They also addressed the difficulties and challenges faced by private enterprises entering strategic technology industries and proposed measures to promote policies supporting innovation and the mastery of technology in Vietnam.

The two sides also discussed cooperation directions and policies to enable Quang Ninh Province to attract and support major technology corporations in addressing strategic challenges outlined in the 2026–2030 science and technology framework program, while simultaneously promoting the “triple-helix” collaboration model—linking businesses, the government, and research institutions/universities—to foster an innovation ecosystem and develop a high-tech workforce for the future.
